On November 4th, 1922 Howard Carter discovered the steps leading down to a tomb. On November 26th they entered into the tomb of King Tutankhamum. Egypt had been ravaged by tomb robbers and King Tut's tomb was the fully intact and it was a find of a life time. I have added some links at the bottom that will give you more information.
