Simple Halloween Decortaions

I was looking through some old Halloween issues from various magazines and I found some basic ideas for simple decorations. Halloween is not just ghost and witches but there are a lot more ideas. Old birdcages are a great idea. You want the cages look vintage and old by painting them black or sprits it with coffee. If the cage is already rusted you don’t need to do much. I saw this one cage that was painted black and then white. After wards you take a scrubby and scrub off some of the paint. Be careful not to take too much off, you want a worn look. You can add some craft moss, twigs, spiders, cobwebs, bats and other ideas.

Blackbirds and ravens are very popular birds for Halloween. Vultures would be great for the top shelf or staircase would be eerie. The best is when you do it in the kitchen or dining room. Having it stare down at you is great.
The old glass jars give your decoration an old fashion look.  You can fill the glass jars with small gourds, apples or Halloween items like eye balls. Fill a jar with dark candies then cut out a pumpkin face to put on it. You can use clear plastic bottles too. You can recycle that old water bottle and fill it with candy corn or small Halloween toys like rats and bats. If the bottles are small you can use colored water. Just add a few drops of food coloring. There are lots of ideas for labels here are a few: bat wings, eye of newt, spider legs, poison, zombie antidote and hair of wolf.

Silhouette pictures are a popular Halloween decoration.  You can also make black and white copies of paintings and embellish them with glow in the dark paint and googly eyes. Some people who have family pictures have Halloween pictures that they exchange. Nails are already in the wall so you don’t need new ones.

You can decorate your kitchen chairs by covering them with black netting and tie them off with Halloween ribbon.

I hope this give you some simple ideas and remember to be creative. Look through Halloween magazines or watch movies to get inspiration. Sometimes the simple decorations are the added touch to any haunted home. Happy Haunting.

Witch Doctor

I told the witch doctor I was in love with you
I told the witch doctor I was in love with you
And then the witch doctor he told me what to do
He said that

Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang

I told the witch doctor you didn't love me true
I told the witch doctor you didn't love me nice
And then the witch doctor he gave me this advice
He said that

Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang

You've been keeping love from me just like you were a miser
And I'll admit I wasn't very smart
So I went out and found myself a guy that's so much wiser
And he taught me the way to win your heart
My friend the witch doctor he taught me what to say
My friend the witch doctor he taught me what to do
I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you

My friend the witch doctor he taught me what to do
I know that you'll be mine when I say this to you
Oh baby

Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Come on and ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang

Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang
Ooo eee, ooo ah ah, ting tang, walla walla, bing bang

The Monster Mash By Bobby "Boris" Pickett

I was working in the lab, late one night.
When my eyes beheld an eerie sight,
and my monster from the slab began to rise
and suddenly to my surprise.

He did the mash.
He did the monster mash.
The monster mash.
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash.
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash.
He did the monster mash.

From my laboratory in the castle east,
to the master bedroom, where the vampires feast.
The ghouls all came from their humble abode, to
get a jolt from my electrodes.

He did the mash.
He did the monster mash.
The monster mash.
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash.
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash.
He did the monster mash.

The Zombies were having fun, the party had just begun.
The guests included Wolfman, Dracula and his Son.
The scene was rocking, all were digging sounds
Igor on chains, backed by his baying hounds.
The coffin baggers, were about to arrive with their
vocal group, The "Crypt Kicker Five."

He did the mash.
He did the monster mash.
The monster mash.
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash.
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash.
He did the monster mash.

Out from his coffin, Drac's voice did ring.
Seems he was troubled by just one thing.
He opened the lid and shook his fist, and said,
"What ever happened to the Transylvania Twist?"

He did the mash.
He did the monster mash.
The monster mash.
It was a graveyard smash
He did the mash.
It caught on in a flash
He did the mash.
He did the monster mash.

Now everything's cool, Drac's a part of the band, and
my Monster Mash is the hit of the land. For you the living,
this mash was meant too. When you get to my door, tell
them Boris sent you!

Then you can Mash.......
Then you can monster mash
Then you can Mash.......
Then you can monster mash
Then you can Mash.......
Then you can monster mash

The Wiccan Rede

The Wiccan Rede

Bide by the Wiccan Law ye must, in perfect love and perfect trust.
Live ye must and let yet to live, fairly take and fairly give.
Cast the circle thrice about, to keep unwelcome spirits out.
to bind the spell every time, let the spell be spoke in rhyme.
Soft as eye and light as touch, speak ye little and listen much.
Deosil go by waxing moon, chanting out the Wiccan runes.
Widdershins go by the waning moon, chanting out the beautiful tune.
When the Lady's moon is new, kiss the hand to Her times two.
When the moon rides at the peak, then the hearts desire seek.
Heed the North wins mighty gale, lock the door and trim the sail.
When the wind comes from the South, Love will kiss thee on thy mouth.
When the wind blows from the West, departed souls will have no rest.
When the wind blows from the East, expect the new and set the feast.
Nine wood in the cauldron go, burn them quick and burn them slow.
Elder be the Lady's tree, burn it not or cursed ye'll be.
When the wheel begins to turn, let the Beltane fires burn.
When the wheel has turned to Yule, light the log and the Horned One rules.
Heed ye flower, bush, and tree, by the Lady, Blessed Be.
Where the rippling waters go, cast a stone the truth to know.
When ye have and hold a need, hearken not to others greed.
With a fool no seasons spend, or be counted as his friend.
Merry Meet and Merry Part, bright the cheeks and warm the heart.
Mind the Threefold Law ye should, three times bad and three times good.
When misfortune is anew, wear the star upon thy brow.
True in love ye must ever be, lest thy be true to thee.
These 8 words the Wiccan Rede fulfill: An it harm none, do what ye will.

13 Principles of the Wiccan Belief

Adopted By The Council Of American Witches Spring Witch meet of 1974, Minneapolis, Minnesota
The Council of American Witches finds it necessary to define modern Witchcraft in terms of the American experience and needs. In 1974 the Council of American Witches was formed with 73 Witches of varying traditions. They attempted to form a statement of common principles and definitions shared by Witches in order to dispel misinformation. These principles have been incorporated into one or more editions of the U.S. Army handbook for chaplains. Although most Witches embrace the Wiccan Rede, many embrace some or all of these as well.

We are not bound by traditions from other times and other cultures and owe no allegiance to any person or power greater than the Divinity manifest through our own being. As American Witches, we welcome and respect all life-affirming teachings and traditions, and seek to learn from all and to share our learning within everyone. Here follows the introduction that accompanied the principles, and the 13 principles themselves.

Principles of the Wiccan Belief:

Introduction:
In seeking to be inclusive, we do not wish to open ourselves to the destruction of our group by those on self-serving power trips, or to philosophies and practices contradictory to those principles. In seeking to exclude those whose ways are contradictory to ours, we do not want to deny participation with us to any who are sincerely interested in our knowledge and beliefs, regardless of race, color, sex, age, national or cultural origins or sexual preference.

1. We practice rites to attune ourselves with the natural rhythm of life forces marked by the phases of the Moon and the seasonal quarters and cross-quarters.

 2. We recognize that our intelligence gives us a unique responsibility toward our environment. We seek to live in harmony with Nature, in ecological balance offering fulfillment to life and consciousness within an evolutionary concept.

3. We acknowledge a depth of power far greater than is apparent to the average person. Because it is far greater than ordinary, it is sometimes called "supernatural," but we see it as lying within that which is naturally potential to all.

4. We conceive of the Creative Power in the Universe as manifesting through polarity - as masculine and feminine - and that this same creative Power lives in all people, and functions through the interaction of the masculine and feminine. We value neither above the other, knowing each to be supportive of the other. We value sexuality as pleasure, as the symbol and embodiment of Life, and as one of the sources of energies used in magickal practice and religious worship.

5. We recognize both outer worlds and inner, or psychological worlds - sometimes known as the Spiritual World, the Collective Unconscious, the Inner Planes, etc. - and we see in the interaction of these two dimensions the basis for paranormal phenomena and magickal exercises. We neglect neither dimension for the other, seeing both as necessary for our fulfillment.

6. We do not recognize any authoritarian hierarchy, but do honor those who teach, respect those who share their greater knowledge and wisdom, and acknowledge those who have courageously given of themselves in leadership.

7. We see religion, magick, and wisdom-in-living as being united in the way one views the world and lives within it - a world-view and philosophy of life which we identify as Witchcraft or the Wiccan Way.

 8. Calling oneself "Witch" does not make a Witch - but neither does heredity itself, or the collecting of titles, degrees, and initiations. A Witch seeks to control the forces within him/herself that make life possible in order to live wisely and well, without harm to others, and in harmony with Nature.

9. We acknowledge that it is the affirmation and fulfillment of life, in a continuation of evolution and development of consciousness, that gives meaning to the Universe we know, and to our personal role within it.

10. Our only animosity toward Christianity, or toward any other religion or philosophy-of-life, is to the extent that its institutions have claimed to be "the one true right and only way" and have sought to deny freedom to others and to suppress other ways of religious practices and belief.

 11. As American Witches, we are not threatened by debates on the history of the Craft, the origins of various terms, the legitimacy of various aspects of different traditions. We are concerned with our present, and our future.

12. We do not accept the concept of "absolute evil," nor do we worship any entity known as "Satan" or "the Devil" as defined by Christian tradition. We do not seek power through the suffering of others, nor do we accept the concept that personal benefits can only be derived by denial to another.

13. We work within Nature for that which is contributory to our health and well-being.

Indoor games for a rainy day

Autumn is here and the weather is changing. Today I'm inside waiting for the rain to stop. I haven't taken my walk today because it has been raining, raining and raining. It starts to lightens up like it is going to stop, and then it starts up again. The good thing is I don't need to water my lawn today but I still would like to stop for a while so I can go for a walk. The good thing, we finally turned off our loud air-conditioner. It is cool enough with the rain to leave the doors open and the cross breeze cools off the house.

So, what to do with the kids? Addie is only 1 1/2 but she is being a little terror right now. I have gotten her addicted to nature so she wants her weekend walk now. Last Winter she did not care that there was a snow storm outside, she wanted her walk. Same thing today, it is Saturday and she wants her Saturday morning walk. Now it is almost evening and it is to late and she is grumpy. She is very spoiled child,  as spoiled as my puppies. Destry and Moo are my children of the corn, 2 pit bulls that are stuck inside too. They want to go out to sunbath and run around but it's too wet. They keep roaming the house and checking to see if the rain has stopped. They just don't want to settle down.

So what to do with the bunch. Well, there is not much I can do for the children of the corn, they are pretty much on their own. As for Addie, her mom has finally got her to sit down and color. I have listed a couple of fun games to try. Addie is still a little young to do these but just give her some more time. You may be able to find them helpful when you and your kids are stuck inside. They are all indoor fun that can last for an hour or longer. They require physical activity that all kids need. It also helps in their development of coordination. Addie is smart but she is still having problems with her hand and eye coordination and games are the great way to help kids with that. So her are a few indoor games for your to think about.

Laser Maze

This game will try to keep the kids occupied and teach them to learn to keep their balance and dexterity. You take colored string, yarn or creep paper and make a laser maze in the hallway. This will help kids if they have dexterity and balance problems. They will need to learn to crawl under the string. Learning to go over the string slowly. It can be funny watching kids trying to go over a sting and losing their balance and falling. Addie is only 1 1/2 and she is still tripping all over the place. She is also starting to climb everywhere and has already got stuck. She is going to be a handful but this game might be fun next year for her.
Spider Ball

Now this balloon game can be fun. It also is great exercise and helps keep the kids limber. Now I will tell you that this game has its risk. I remember hurting my wrist playing this game as a child so be careful as the game can be a little rough. The game is lots of fun and it burns off lots of energy for the kids. Note, make sure you move all your furniture back and they have enough room to play. Some places will not be able to play it because of the space it takes up.
One foot in front of the other

This is another coordination game that is lots of fun. You can use creep paper and make different kinds of lines. You can used different colors and make it a great game. You can make your own dice or make a list 1-6 and roll the dice. 1 is blue, 2 is red , 3 is green, 4 is curvy, 5, is straight and 6 is jagged. You can make them into shapes and have the kids follow the lines. You can time them too and see who can do it faster.

Another idea is changing the way they go down the line. You may skip, hop or jump down the line. It may be funnier if you did it to music. This game would be so great if you had the music from Santa Clause is coming to town.

I hope this gives you some good ideas on some game for the kids to play inside. I hope you all have fun time trying them out. Turn up the music and it may last longer and afterwards they might just be too tired to get in trouble. Enjoy.

Movie and TV review: Charmed

I just got done with watching Charmed from start to finished. It was a good series about witches. It starts out with 3 sisters finding out they are witches. They are not just witches but the Charmed Ones, the most powerful witches. Working together they are the Power of 3 and they fight demons and vanquish them all for the greater good. After the 3rd season one of the sisters die and breaks the Power of 3. They find out that they have another sister that they did not know about and she comes into her powers and the Power of 3 is reunited. Being the Charmed Ones is not an easy job as they try to have a normal life and relations while kicking demon butt.

The series started off with a Wiccan touch but kind of lost it after a while. In the middle of the series they added Magic School, which let's face it was a rip off of Harry Potter. Needless to say the also added lots of members of the magic community with fairies, leprechauns and even a unicorn.

I really like some humor in my dramas, it makes them enjoyable. The girls were always getting into trouble and some of the costumes were hilarious. The girls were once turned into comic book heroes in full costume. They became Valkeries and even Goddess and each girl has had their own transformations. One of the have been turned into a mermaid, a genie, a vampire, a windego, a mummy, and many more. They have traveled through time several time. Now like many shows it has its ups and downs and after a while it starts to get dark. The later seasons were darker then it started out but it did finish the series on a good note. Some series ruin the endings but I must say that they really did a good job. In all it was a good series to watch and I enjoyed it. The girls tried to find love that would last and they had loss but in the end they all found the man of their dreams and got the children they wanted.

I was kind of let down going from a strong Wiccan show to a make believe show but it did continued with the Wiccan theme so it was not that bad. I liked that they did not tarnish the Wiccan religion like other shows. The only thing that bothers me are the skimpy outfits so you need to parent the kids. Some of the story lines are on the dark side and there are lots of sexual content so you should watch it before you let the kids watch it.

Over all I would say it is worth watching. It keeps the Wiccan touch that is positive and in the end good is victorious over evil. They only had to vanquish the source of all evil a couple of times but finally worked, maybe. Then their was the Triad and they only killed them a couple of times. Who knows what is to come in the comic books and the books. So in print they are still kicking demon butt and I know that they will in the end be victorious.

A Bats ramble

Welcome everyone. Someone on Facebook asked me some questions about Paganism. I gave them the basics and gave them a couple of websites and even got them a contact information for their area. As for my blog, I have posted things sporadically and most of it has been on a whim.
So I did some thinking and decided to start with some basics first. That might help people that are just looking around. I know that there are differences between Witches, Pagans, Wiccans, New age, and all the other names and it can be confusing to the newbies. But it is also just as confusing to the rest of us too. I have read so many fights on just defining the word Witch but I really don't want to go to deep into what the differences because you are going to get so many different answers from other people.

From my point of view (which can be different opinion for others), Pagans is like Christianity. It covers a collective of non Christian beliefs. Wiccans is a pacifist religion that believes in "harm to none" and you have Wiccans that use Witchcraft and some that don't. You have different traditions from Ancient Gods and Goddess from around the world. These include Druidism, Kemitism (Egypt) , Norse and many other traditions. You also have just plain Witches that some perform Witchcraft and some do not. Then you have all the covens that are out there that are considered to be separate in some areas.  As the Christianity forced all Pagans into hiding, we lost much of our history and writings. As no one has created a time machine we cannot say for definite about the true culture of Paganism. All we have are teachings that were passed down and Witch to Witch, which may not have all the truths behind it. We must rely on our faith and what we do know.

You have to remember that Paganism is older than Christianity and it was the rise of Christianity that started the downfall of knowledge. In WWII, Hitler raised the German army but giving them someone to hate, someone to be blamed for all their hardships. That is why Hitler choose the Jewish people because they were untied and shared their wealth with each other. Hitler need the money and need the "big bad" to sell to the German people. It worked and Hitler almost took over the world. Christianity did the same thing thousands of years before Hitler. In order for Christianity to hold their status they had to make the Pagans the "big bad." That is why the devil has horns, it was depicted from the Pagan Horned God.

Long story short, Christian leaders learned that they had power and they wanted to keep it so anyone that went against them had to be a Witch and a servant of the Devil. So centuries of this hate turned in to a millennia which lead to another millennia and another. So after so much time has passed lots of information was lost. Christians destroyed ancient text that could hurt their new position. Another problem that happened is the Christian stealing our symbols and stories. In order to try to convert Pagans to Christianity, they took several of our God and Goddess figures and turned them into Christian saints. They also took our celebrations and changed the date but kept the symbolism. That is why we have the Easter Bunny during the resurrection of Christ.

So my short version is taking longer than expected but, anyways, Christians outlawed Paganism and any form of Magick. The Pagan community puts a "k" on Magic to make it different from the other magic. Back to the story, Pagans had to hid from the public which caused the loss of knowledge. "My conspiracy theorists friend" once told me that he believed that Pagan and Witch was a title from education like professor and doctor. It has merits as most magick from the past has a lot of science of today. That is why Pagans and Witches were feared as they knew how to heal people. As this is a mans world and has been since the beginning, a woman who was intelligent had to be evil because women were not allowed to think.

So you can see the problems that we have had to face over the centuries and still face today. We have won our right to vote but there are still those that still want us as property and enslaved. Over the last 200 years things have been changing and today most of the Witchcraft laws have been banned. There have been several people that have given Paganism and Witchcraft a boost out of the closet. Margaret Murray, Gerald Gardner, Aleister Crowley, Charles Leland, Starhawk, and many others.

Now when you are looking up Paganism, Wicca and Witchcraft, you have to remember that there are people that are positive and people that are negative. Some people pretend to be Pagan just to spread lies. You really must decide for yourself on what you want to believe. That is the curse of being a non-organized religion. Organized religions of strict rules and the leaders decide what you should believe in. Paganism gives you the power to decide for yourself. If you are in a coven then you a set of beliefs but they do not stop you from learning about other ways. If you are solitary then it is all about how you feel about what you are doing. The downside is everyone has their own opinion. But again we still have the free will to make our own decisions but you need to do a lot more homework than organized religion. That is the price for freedom.

You also have to remember that history is written by the winners, so it is not always the truth. Like I said we do not have a time machine so we are not positive if there was human scarifies, but in todays Witchcraft their is no human scarifies. We do scarifies but they are not in taking a life but giving something up. If a spell states you need to sacrifice something, they do not mean a necklace that you never wear but something that you have that you need to decide to give up for the spell. Sometimes it is a personal scarifies or a way you look at something.

In conclusion Paganism is the umbrella term and under that you have Wiccans, Witches, Druids, and all the ancient traditions and so much more. Witch is difficult because you don't need to perform Witchcraft to be a Witch. There are many non magickal Witches. They celebrate the holidays and even perform rituals for the full moon but not all of them perform spells. Then you have just plain old Pagans. They do not call themselves Witches and some of the cast spells but some don't. Now New agers are considered to be people that use divination tools but they do not practice the religion.  Pagans live their religion, especially Wiccans as they must do no harm always. They do not harm in thought and deed, which is really hard not to have negative thoughts about people.

As for Satanism is just as confusing as Satanism that worship the Devil are Christian as the Devil is a Christian god. Pagans do not believe in Satan the Devil. There are other Satanic groups that are actually more on the line of atheist. The other Satanic group believes that Satan is an idea not a person, and some of them do spells and some don't. But that is even more confusing and complex that I really don't want to go into right now.

Confused yet? I know that I am, so will leave it up to you to do your own research. Now remember that you should never ask someone about someone else beliefs. Never ask a Christian what Jew or Muslims believe. You always go to the source and ask your questions. Next you have to remember that we have no laws to prevent anyone in writing the truth or lie. The web is a nice place to start but remember that everything on the internet or books are someone's opinion. Don't just take the someone's word for it. Check out different websites and ask lots of people about things. Ask your questions and if they can't answer them, ask them who can. Never be afraid of asking.

My plan is to post some basic information. I will try to post at least once a week but my life can be hectic. Being the head of the household and a grandmas is a lot of work. So I will not make any guaranties. So to start out I will leave you with some simple quote that should start you out.

The Wiccan Rede (short)
Bide the Wiccan Law Ye must
In Perfect Love and Perfect Trust
Eight words the Wiccan Rede fulfill
In it harm none, do what Ye will
What Ye sends forth comes back to thee
So ever mind the Rule of Three
Follow this with mind and Heart
And Merry Ye Meet,
and Merry Ye Part!

Tomorrow is the Autumn Equinox and it is time to get ready. As most of us work Monday thru Friday, we have to take the time off or start preparing early. As family problems came up and I am running out of my vacation time so I will have to prepare everything early. I am also 4 days short from payday and we are short on funds. The other problem that we have is, no oven. We have a broken oven and our kitchen has a drop in stove that is smaller than most stoves. We have looked for a new one but we can't find one small enough. So it is times like this that we need to be creative.

We have a beef pot roast in the freezer that I can whip up. We can also get some corn and apples from the store. A nice green salad would go lovely, chop up the apples and I could see if we have enough money to get some nuts. Toss in some croutons and we got a salad. Now my mother really likes poppy seed dressing and I rather enjoy greek or ranch and we have all of those in the fridge.

Now you can't have a pot roast without mashed potatoes. I remember an episode of Rachael Ray's 30 min meals, she made some smashed potatoes. She made them from real potatoes with milk, cream cheese and green onions. Now personally we have added sour cream to ours before and it has turned out great.

Next we need bread for us to break. Once again without an oven it is harder and sadder because I love homemade bread, but alas life is not that easy at times. We do have a toaster oven that we can use. I have some herb biscuits in the freezer or I have regular biscuits in the fridge. I think I will go with the herbs biscuits

So now that we have a plan on the meal, next is the blessing. I have found several different ones. Decisions, decisions, I really hate to make decisions. I have include my top 3 that I like. I will probably wait until the last minute to decide which one we will use.  I hope these will inspire you for your Mabon Blessings and that it will be an easier decision for you then it will be for me.

Pray for Abundance:

We have so much before us
on for this we are thankful.
We have so many blessings,
and for this we are thankful.
There are others not so fortunate,
and by this we are humbled.
We shall make an offering in their name
to the gods who watch over us,
that those in need are someday
as blessed as we are this day.

Mabon Balance Prayer

Equal hours of light and darkness
we celebrate
the balance of Mabon,
and ask the gods to bless us.
For all that is bad, there is good.
For that which is despair, there is hope.
For the moments of pain, there are moments of love.
For all that falls, there is the chance to rise again.
May we find balance in our lives
as we find it in our hearts.

Simple Mabon Prayer

Lord and Lady, watch over us,
and bless us as we eat.
Bless this food, this bounty of earth,
we thank you, so mote it be.

We hope you have a great Mabon from our Cauldron to yours. Take the time not only to be thankful, but to tell others how thankful you are for them being in your life.

May the God and Goddess shine on you and your family.

Mabon 2014

Welcome to all and a blessed Mabon. Last year I posted lots of food and craft ideas. I also posted several poems. This year has been a rough year and I have been busy but as Mabon is approaching I need to take a time out. Mabon is the time to look at our blessings and be thankful for what we have. My family is growing again. Aubrie is pregnant again and I will be expecting my 2nd grandchild. I wont know what it is for couple more weeks but it wont matter as it will still be my little one. It will be hard financial but I know we will work it out. We may be behind on all of the bills but we still have a roof over our head and food on the table. Our pantry is thinned but it is not bare. We are all have our own health problems but we are still in good health.

On Addie's last doctors appointment, they said that she is healthy and is right on track. They tested her cognitive responses and she is a head for her age group. She is a little dare devil and is starting her terrible twos a little early but she is still a cutie.

Aubrie and the baby are doing good. Kody got a promotion at work and is doing good. Mom still hurts but is still moving along. Destry and Moo are still as spoiled as ever.

I am hanging in there. It is hard sometimes as I am now the responsible one that has to worry about the bills getting paid and making sure everyone is taken care of. It is not easy as I have to take care Aubrie and Kody's bi-polar problems. It also does not help that I also am bi-polar. We really are a house full of nuts.

Even with being one day ahead of bill collectors I still keep a roof over our heads and food on the table. We may be struggling but we are surviving. I am thankful for the fact that we may be treading water but we are still afloat. It thank the God and Goddess for giving us the life preserver to help us keep going. I have a beautiful family and some outstanding friends and that I am thankful for. I have been truly blessed.

So take the time and think of your blessings. Things may be dark but there is a light of hope is still burning for us all. The God and Goddess is all round us and we only need to open our hearts to see the blessings. The fruit of the God and Goddess are ready to be harvested as Winter will soon be here. Take the time to stop and enjoy the what the world has to offer. Change is in the air and I am going to embrace change. I will admit that I don't like change but change part of the cycle of life. So I am going to light a candle and accept the changes that are coming. I know that the God and Goddess will give us the strength to endure. So accept your blessings  and be happy. I hope you all have a great Mabon this year.
